Interfaces between Inspection management and in-process inspectors. In-process and some final inspection of sub‑assemblies and final assemblies through various stages of manufacturing, utilizing blueprints, Engineering Change Notices, Interdivisional Work Authorizations, contract reviews and company procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Component insertion inspection.
- Solder/workmanship inspection on printed circuit boards, multi-wire boards, sub‑assemblies and small chassis.
- Harness and cable inspection.
- Point‑to‑point buzz out of wired assemblies and end item spare harnesses.
- Conformal coating inspection.
- Configuration inspection and data entry of revision status utilizing the Configuration Management Information system.
- Interfaces with various departments to identify and solve problems involving inspection at all levels of manufacturing.
- Assists other inspectors with complex high-level inspections.
- Establishes and maintains records in compliance with company procedures.
- Source Inspection for workmanship at vendor facilities (local area).
- Strip force test of solderless wrapped connections. Tensile strength test and tool inspection for crimping operations.
- Auditing of ionic contamination test (prior to conformal coating operation).
- Auditing of conformal coating process and inspection of sample for thickness test.
- Performs other duties as directed.
Skills:
- High school diploma or GED
- 8-10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be completely familiar with IPC-A-610, IPC-A-620, IPC J-STD-001 and electro-mechanical assemblies
- Requires a throughout knowledge of engineering drawings, specifications, procedures and their application and interpretation
- Must be able to meet the requirements of the company-training program

Compensation and Benefits:

Compensation ranges for roles at TTM Technologies varies depending on a wide array of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At TTM Technologies, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on each individual set of circumstances. A reasonable estimate of the current range is:
$55,456 - $87,657Additional compensation: An annual or quarterly company bonus may apply based on position assignment. Positions hired for alternative shift may be eligible for a shift premium based on the assigned shift and location.
