In this role, you’ll own a defined portfolio of accounts and be responsible for growing core business, expanding adoption of new product solutions, winning competitive share, and identifying untapped opportunities across the life safety ecosystem. You’ll partner with fire alarm integrators, distributors and end users to drive deeper account penetration and long-term customer success.

What you will do:
In this role, you own a portfolio of accounts and be accountable for building customer relationships, developing new business and delivering profitable growth through disciplined sales execution.
- Drive revenue growth
- Achieve or exceed assigned sales, profitable growth, and activity targets within your territory
- Grow existing accounts through deeper penetration, cross-selling and adoption of new solutions
- Identify, prospect and win new customers and competitive conversions to expand market share
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline that supports current and future growth objectives
- Execute consistent prospecting, customer engagement and pipeline-generation activities to create qualified opportunities and support growth objectives
- Develop customers and create demand
- Build strong relationships with key decision makers, influencers and partners across your assigned accounts
- Serve as a trusted advisor by understanding customer needs and recommending solutions that solve business and life safety challenges
- Conduct customer visits, presentations, training sessions and product demonstrations to generate opportunities and drive growth
- Execute with discipline
- Maintain accurate, complete and timely account, contact, opportunity, activity and forecast data within CRM to support effective customer engagement, forecasting and business decision-making
- Consistently execute account plans, sales processes and activity expectations to maximize productivity and results
- Provide reliable pipeline and forecast updates to provide critical insights into the business and ensure operational support for a strong customer experience
- Partner effectively with Customer Experience, Technical Support and Marketing

- Sales and profit objectives are consistently achieved or exceeded
- Existing accounts grow through increased product penetration and share gains
- New customers and opportunities are consistently added
- A robust, accurately forecasted pipeline supports sustained growth
- Customer relationships are strong, resulting in high retention and expansion rates
- CRM data is accurate, current and reflects all key customer interactions and opportunities
- Management has clear visibility into business performance, market conditions and competitive activity
Job Skills
- Proven success in territory management and consistently delivering against sales quotas
- Strong prospecting, pipeline development, relationship-building and account growth discipline
- Ability to identify customer needs and translate them into solutions
- Strong-problem solving skills and a results-oriented mindset
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience using CRM and business intelligence tools such as PowerBI, Salesforce preferred
- Ability to effectively collaborate with customers, partners and cross-functional teams
- Fluent in English and the primary language used within the assigned area
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Sales, Engineering, and/or a related field or equivalent experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a quota-carrying B2B sales or account management role, preferably within life safety, fire alarm or related technical markets
- Access to and residence within the assigned geography, with proximity to primary metropolitan hubs
- Willingness to travel as required to serve the assigned territory, expected to be 50%
