Field Service Technician - Lenton

WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:

·       Support growth of LENTON brand and nVent fleet of equipment.

·       Technician duties include Maintaining, diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical, electrical and software systems for the fleet of LENTON machines.

·       Technical and sales support.

·       Partner closely with nVent’s existing sales network of Regional Sales Managers to maximize sales and promote market expansion.

·       Promote LENTON products to rebar fabricators, contractors, and job sites.

·       Ability to travel throughout North America to accomplish the above responsibilities approximately 60% of the time.  Flexible to travel on short notice.

·       Provide training and conduct classes on the use of LENTON products and proper use of nVent Equipment.

·       Provide feedback on market information and customer feedback.

·       Assure safety standards are used which comply with all company, Local, City, State and Federal guidelines.

YOU HAVE:

·       High School Diploma or equivalent

·       Machine repair training.

·       PLC & computer training

·       Ability to read Electrical Schematics and Wire Diagrams

·       Computer systems control.

·       Servo Motors and Drives

·       Must possess at least three years of experience.

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills.

·       Must be comfortable working in the field and at customer locations.

·       Energetic, highly motivated personality and personable team player able to easily form relationships.

·       Ability to be self-motivated, self-directed and self-managed.

·       This job requires exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.

·       Maintain a valid Passport to travel outside the USA.

·       Excellent documentation skills
