Job Description

As a Transportation Security Officer: Full Time Airport Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic airport location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist travelers and staff with professionalism, and communicate observations clearly. Requirements:

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

 

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of airport terminal areas, parking facilities, roadways, restricted-access points, and perimeter locations; working environments and conditions may vary throughout the location.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns and maintaining awareness of applicable airport rules and procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation regarding patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions with the public.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
