Customer Service and Sales Associate – Rochester, MN 

Johnstone Supply – The Heartland Group is currently hiring a Customer Service and Sales Associate for our Rochester, MN store. This individual will handle multiple customers and customer requests in a friendly and professional manner while contributing to branch sales, growth, and profitability while also assisting in the warehouse.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

Required:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D and minimum of two years related experience and/or training in the HVAC/R industry; OR equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred:

• The above plus 2 years experience as a Sales and Service Associate in the HVAC/R or similar industry.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to lift, carry, and load up to 75 pounds repeatedly throughout the day; climb and balance on ladders and equipment; walk, stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl; and reach, push, pull and manipulate. The employee is also frequently required to lift in excess of 100 pounds with mechanical assistance or the assistance of coworkers. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. The ability to speak and hear sufficiently to provide customer service is required.

Store Environment: Medium to large store with shelves and bins, most work is performed with telephone, material handling equipment, computer, fax, printer and in some cases an RF scanner.

Travel Expense Reimbursement

Pay Range: $22-$26/hr.
