Role Overview
The NPI Production Planner is responsible for coordinating production planning for launches and new products, ensuring that capacity, materials, planning parameters, and operational data are ready to support a smooth transition into manufacturing. This position works closely with Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, Quality, and commercial teams to maintain visibility, protect committed dates, and keep the operation running effectively.
What will you do?
Develop and track weekly production plans for finished goods and subassemblies associated with NPI initiatives.
Balance sales order demand with available capacity to meet committed customer ship dates.
Analyze, review, and adjust production plans when demand, capacity, supply, or resource availability changes.
Maintain planning parameters such as lead time, order interval, and lot size for products managed through MPS.
Prepare information and data for Master Production Schedule (MPS) meetings and launch follow-up reviews.
Coordinate the preparation of sales orders for finished goods and related components.
Participate in daily production meetings and Gemba walks to identify risks and follow up on actions.
Prepare and present reports, indicators, and performance status updates for management.
Track the integration of NPI into the production system, identifying material, capacity, or sequencing constraints.
Ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environment standards and ISO 9001 quality system requirements.
How will you do it?
You will work with strong operational discipline, keeping safety, quality, and customer commitments at the center of every decision.
You will stay close to the work, identifying real constraints on the floor and removing barriers that can delay new product introduction.
You will use daily analysis and follow-up to anticipate changes in demand, capacity, and materials before they affect production.
You will collaborate openly with Supply Chain, Production, Engineering, and Quality to align priorities and solve issues quickly.
You will improve every day by communicating clearly, following through consistently, and solving problems with facts and data.
You will win as one team by sharing information in a timely way and building trust across functions.
What are we looking for?

Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems.
