Description
Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner of federal health agencies. We are seeking a Health IT Informaticist II to lead stakeholder-facing clinical informatics work as VA transitions to a modern EHR. This role is responsible for stakeholder management, requirements gathering, information modeling, process documentation, and liaison tasks required to support the development of clinical informatics software and other clinical informatics project activities. The position works independently or under general direction and operates in a client-facing manner for requirements capture, carrying more senior accountability for issue resolution and artifact quality than the Informaticist I role.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide stakeholder management across clinical, operational, and technical partners for clinical informatics project activities
- Lead requirements gathering and analysis in a client-facing manner for requirements capture
- Perform information modeling and process documentation for systems used in the capture or standardization of health and clinical information
- Lead identification, analysis, and resolution of clinical workflow, configuration, safety, interoperability, and data-quality issues related to Oracle Health system use during Go-Live and PGL Operations
- Direct user acceptance testing activities, including test planning, execution oversight, and defect resolution tracking
- Lead data quality management activities, remediating data errors and integrity issues to ensure accurate, reliable reporting and patient safety
- Support reporting and analytics requirements, identifying areas of improvement in current reporting practices
- Lead evaluation, refinement, and maintenance of clinical decision support content, terminology updates, and knowledge-artifact alignment
- Mentor junior informatics staff on requirements practice, documentation standards, and artifact quality
- Support integration management by refreshing guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures as workflows, systems, and Oracle Health interfaces evolve
- Brief stakeholders on informatics findings, risks, and recommended remediation
- Bachelor's degree required; six (6) additional years of specialized experience may substitute for the bachelor's degree
- Minimum of eight (8) years of experience, of which at least six (6) must be specialized
- Specialized experience with requirements elicitation, requirements analysis, user acceptance testing, and artifact development or documentation of systems used in the capture or standardization of health information, clinical information, or other data related to therapeutic discovery, medical research, or life sciences
- Demonstrated stakeholder management experience in a client-facing requirements capacity
- Demonstrated ability to work independently or under general direction
- Strong written and oral communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online, Office 365, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI at an expert level
- Authorized to work in the U.S. indefinitely without sponsorship.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a VA Low/NACI background investigation.
- Experience with Oracle Health (Cerner) Millennium in a senior analyst or informatics lead capacity
- Experience supporting VHA or EHRM deployment and post go-live operations
- Experience leading clinical decision support or terminology management workstreams
- Clinical background or clinical informatics certification
