CMP Shift Process Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for a Shift Process Engineer to support our WET and CMP manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring process health, responding to production issues, and ensuring smooth handover across shifts. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to maintain stable operations and support high‑quality manufacturing.
This position is ideal for candidates who enjoy problem solving, teamwork, and fast‑paced manufacturing environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor manufacturing processes during assigned shifts to ensure stable and consistent operation
- Respond promptly to process or production issues and take appropriate containment actions
- Support daily manufacturing needs, including lot disposition, rework decisions, and engineering holds
- Communicate effectively with equipment, manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams to resolve issues
- Document shift activities, open issues, and follow‑up actions clearly and accurately
- Participate in shift handovers and daily operational meetings to ensure continuity
- Follow established procedures and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements
What You Will Do
- Review process performance indicators and production status during your shift
- Identify abnormal situations and coordinate timely responses
- Support recovery activities after equipment maintenance or issues
- Provide clear shift summaries and escalate concerns when needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement through learning and teamwork
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field
- Experience in a manufacturing, process, or operations environment is preferred
- Willingness to work in a shift‑based schedule
- Strong problem‑solving and analytical mindset
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style
Working Environment
- Shift‑based role in a semiconductor manufacturing (Fab) environment
- Requires close collaboration with on‑site operations and engineering teams
AI Relevant Job Responsibilities:
\- Integrates AI-assisted tools and insights into daily work to improve efficiency, quality, or effectiveness, exercising sound judgment and complying with organizational standards and legal requirements.
\- Contributes to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, testing, and sharing AI-enabled enhancements within one’s scope of work.
\- Ability to apply baseline digital fluency and role‑appropriate AI literacy to use AI‑enabled tools responsibly and effectively for research, analysis, content creation, problem‑solving, operational tasks, and achieving business
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a similar field.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to strictly adhere to protocols.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant engineering field.
Experience with advanced semiconductor wet process technologies.
Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and other industry-standard methodologies.
Demonstrated ability to compete in a fast-paced, innovative environment.
