Research Associate (TEMPORARY - part-time, 17.5 hours/week)
Transform findings from a completed research project into a publication for a peer-reviewed journal. This position is ideal for a research professional with strong analytical, writing, and consumer behavior research skills.
What you’ll do in this position:
- Conduct comprehensive literature reviews
- Analyze and interpret research data
- Draft scientific manuscripts for peer-reviewed publication
- Revise manuscripts based on feedback and publication standards
- Organize research findings, references, and supporting documentation
- Ensure accuracy, clarity, and scholarly quality
What qualifies you for this role:
Required
- A firm commitment to the mission of BYU
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least one year of research experience
- Experience conducting consumer behavior research
- Strong scientific writing and editing skills
- Ability to analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate research findings
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Preferred
- Experience preparing research manuscripts for publication
- Knowledge of peer-review and academic publishing processes

Typical Starting Pay: $16.50 to $21.25 an hour
