Position Overview
As a Store Manager, you are responsible for leading daily operations, developing a high-performing team, driving financial performance, and delivering an exceptional guest experience. This role is ideal for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about coaching and development, and is committed to maintaining the highest brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Front of House Leadership & Client Experience:
Oversee all front of house operations and ensure a seamless client experience from arrival through checkout.
Create a welcoming, professional, elevated environment for every client.
Ensure clients are greeted promptly, checked in efficiently, and taken back for services on time.
Monitor the flow of the spa throughout the day and proactively address scheduling delays, client concerns, or operational needs.
Ensure the front bar is consistently organized, clean, stocked and client ready.
Assist with dishes and sanitation of service related items throughout the day to ensure the Esthetician team has everything needed for upcoming appointments.
Assist with laundry throughout the day, including washing, drying, folding, organizing, and restocking linens as needed to support service flow.
Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated client concerns and resolve situations with professional, urgency, and excellent judgement.
Maintain a strong understanding of all FACE FOUNDRIÉ products, promotions, policies, and procedures.
Deliver exceptional customer service while upholding FACE FOUNDRIÉ brand standards.
Create and maintain Front Bar schedules based on business and coverage needs.
Lead onboarding and training for new Front Bar employees.
Scheduling & Daily Operations
Oversee the appointment schedule throughout the day to maximize efficiency, productivity, and the client experience.
Monitor appointment timing and help ensure services remain on schedule.
Identify gaps, cancellations, waitlist opportunities, and opportunities to maximize the books.
- Ensure opening and closing procedures are completed accurately.
- Maintain accurate client profiles, appointment notes, memberships, vouchers, and account information.
Membership & Sales Leadership
Drive membership growth and help the Front Bar team confidently communicate membership benefits.
Ensure every eligible client receives consistent membership education.
Coach Front Bar employees on membership conversations, objection handling, and closing.
Support location sales goals and identify opportunities to improve performance.
Celebrate wins and create excitement around team goals, contests, promotions, and incentives.
Retail & Inventory Management
Own the organization and management of front of house retail inventory.
Monitor product inventory levels and ensure appropriate stock is maintained.
Complete regular inventory counts and assist with monthly inventory processes.
Receive shipments, verify orders, and ensure products are entered and stored appropriately.
Ensure retail displays are clean, fully stocked, visually appealing, and aligned with current promotions.
Client Communication & Retention
Oversee phone, text, email, and all client communication.
Ensure missed calls, voicemails, and client inquiries are handled promptly.
Assist with client retention and rebooking initiatives.
Follow up with clients when appropriate regarding concerns, memberships, appointments, or service recovery.
Help manage membership questions, freezes, cancellations, account issues, and other client requests according to company policies.
Identify opportunities to turn challenging client situations into positive experiences.
Facility & Operational Standards
Maintain exceptional cleanliness and organization throughout all client facing areas.
Ensure retail, lobby, front bar, bathrooms and remain clean and meet brand standards.
Monitor operational supplies and coordinate ordering before items run low.
Leadership & Collaboration
Work closely with the Spa Manager to ensure strong communication and alignment between the Front Bar and Esthetician teams.
Partner with the Spa Manager to create a seamless experience for both clients and employees.
Serve as a leader on the floor and set the standard for professionalism, urgency, hospitality, accountability, and teamwork.
Be willing to step into Front Bar responsibilities whenever additional support is needed.
Approach the business with an ownership mentality and proactively identify what needs to be done rather than waiting for direction.
What We’re Looking For
Previous leadership experience in retail, spa, fitness or the wellness field.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Confident handling difficult conversations and resolving client concerns.
Strong sales mindset with the ability to coach and motivate others.
Experience with scheduling, inventory, retail, or operational management.
Comfortable learning and using scheduling/POS software and other business systems.
Positive attitude with a genuine passion for creating an exceptional client and employee experience.
Scheduling & Availability
This is a hands on leadership position that requires flexibility based on the needs of the business.
Candidates should have:
Availability to work a combination of weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Flexibility to assist with coverage during peak business periods, team vacations, call outs, events, and other operational needs.
Qualifications
Previous salon, spa, or beauty management experience preferred
Minimum of 1 year of management or leadership experience preferred
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Proven ability to coach, motivate, and develop a team
Strong understanding of sales performance and operational management
Passion for skincare, guest experience, and team development
