Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Material Handler I - 2nd Shift to join the El Paso, TX team!
The hourly rate for this position is $16.76 per hour plus $1 shift differential per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive plan.
Shift: 4:00pm-12:45am

## Position Overview:
The Material Handler is responsible for safely moving, storing, and supplying materials throughout the facility to support production operations. This role ensures that materials are accurately received, transported, and delivered to designated areas while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to safety standards.
In this function you will:
- Exhibit a strong adherence to quality by continually seeking methods of improvement for all functions of the position.
- Ensure that all products and parts adequately meet Eaton’s quality guidelines as they move throughout the production process. Perform quality checks as instructed.
- Receive and process material kitting orders promptly to execute production schedules
- Complete inventory transactions and ensure accuracy
- Comply with all safety and industrial hygiene requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment and operation of equipment safely and competently. Understand and meet all departmental safety objectives and goals.
- Own and lead 5S process and discipline for assigned warehouse area
- Receive and process incoming raw materials and ensure the inventory process is followed correctly
- Prepare finished products for final shipment including packaging, documentation, and loading, and ensure on-time delivery
- Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts (stand-up and sit-down), order pickers, automatic pallet wrappers, pallet jack and electric pallet jack.
- Perform Lean Initiatives by recommending suggestions for improvement related to quality, work processes, and environmental safety and health.
- Other duties as required.
## Qualifications:
Required:
- High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.

Preferred:
- Two or more years of warehouse experience in an industrial environment.
- Two years or more of forklift operation experience (sit-down/standup).
- Minimum of six months of work experience with an RF Scanner.

- Computer literate.
- Knowledge of AS400, VISTA, and MAPICS systems.
- Knowledge of Lean and continuous process improvements.
- Ability to lift. push, and pull up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to squat and reach above the head with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to physically operate a forklift with or without reasonable accommodation
