Description
Leasing Consultants are tasked with effectively marketing the property and maintaining high occupancy of qualified residents. They are the first impression of the property and must present a high level of professionalism.
- Must have excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Must have proven customer service and/or sales experience (leasing preferred but not required).
- Must be very organized, professional, friendly, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
- Knowledge of basic math, and general office technology skills preferred.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced working environment.
- Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Provide excellent service to residents, prospects, vendors, visitors, and other customers.
- Conduct building tours for prospective residents and input traffic into software daily.
- Lease apartments in accordance with policies and procedures set forth by management.
- Accurately enter new lease information into computer system.
- Prepare, maintain, and manage new and existing lease files.
- Assist in move-in / move-out process.
- Receive and enter resident service requests.
- Assist with resident programs and retention strategies.
- Assist property manager and co-workers in the management and operations of the property.
- Maintain confidentiality in all job responsibilities as it pertains to staff and tenants.
- Follow policies and procedures while complying with Fair Housing, state and federal laws.
