🍽️ Dietary Aide
Perimeter Behavioral of Springfield is hiring a dependable and compassionate PRN Dietary Aide to support our food service team. Our accredited psychiatric residential treatment facility provides specialized care for children and adolescents ages 6–17. ✅ Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve meals according to scheduled meal times, approved menus, and portion guidelines.
- Follow recipes, therapeutic diet instructions, and food safety procedures accurately.
- Assist with preparing menu items such as meats, vegetables, soups, and other resident meals.
- Support kitchen helpers and team members in following menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.
- Monitor food quality and proper doneness, adjusting cooking equipment as needed.
- Recalibrate thermometers as required and maintain compliance with sanitation standards.
- Keep kitchen, dining, and food service areas clean, organized, and safe.
🎓 Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous food service, dietary, or healthcare experience preferred.
- Ability to follow menus, recipes, diet orders, and food safety guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and sanitation.
- Dependable, flexible, and able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to work PRN shifts based on department needs.
