- Provide support to land mobile radio operations.
- Work with other technicians focused on wireless systems for two-way and multi-point applications.
- Construct, maintain, and test electrical systems and components.
- Use measuring and diagnostic tools to test and modify electronics parts.
- Ensure systems and components meet established specifications.
- Ensure all software including network control programs satisfy the communications needs covering both the hardware and software installed.
- Provide hand-on assistance involving troubleshooting and diagnostic support for all related systems, equipment failures or service issues.
- Install and test equipment.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Must possess an active DOD Secret Security Clearance.
- Minimum of two (2) years LMR Electronics Technician experience.
- Detailed understanding of LMR technologies.
- Ability to program, troubleshoot and perform system diagnostics.
Specialized Experience:
- Experience with:
- M/A-COM Harris P7100 radios
- EFJohnson series radios
- Motorola radios.
- Experience with:
- Radio Personality Harris Corp version 9.1.1.7
- Radio ProGrammer programming software R20A10
- ARS Data Administrator version R01.00.00
- Radio Maintenance Pro version R20A10
