Description
The Opportunity:
We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Professional with a minimum of twelve (12) years of hands-on experience in Cyber Security protocols, RF communications and/or communications networks, supporting C5ISR systems across the Department of Defense (DoD).This position provides Life Cycle Sustainment and Maintenance (LCSM) support, training, and technical expertise for Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) satellite systems, Cisco-based networks, and deployable communications environments.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for providing customer support through the performance of on-site product/solution installation and sustainment of deployable C5ISR terminals.
Ensure compliance with Cyber security protocols and policies. Apply images, patches, software/ firmware upgrades to protect network from attacks/ unauthorized access.
Oversee and/or perform any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems.
Checks out and approves operational quality of solution components. Instructs customers in the operation, security and maintenance of the solution.
Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative, cyber security and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers' needs, defines next steps, and clarifies the assignment of responsibility for problem resolution as needed.
Includes any aspect of field support and is not limited to system hardware, cyber security, software, network, and other technical infrastructure components.
Research and maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends in computer and network vulnerabilities, data hiding and network and device security and encryption. Work with limited supervision.
Qualifications:
Required:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering (or 4 additional years of experience)
Secret Clearance
Experience: Three (3) years of notable experience (or 7 if no degree) preparing, implementing, and ensuring compliance with cybersecurity policies.
Experience operating and configuring Cisco routers, firewalls, encryption devices, and VSAT/ Idirect.
Experience in fielding, instructing, maintaining, LCSM support for Department of Defense (DoD) Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C5ISR) systems, subsystems, and equipment.
In addition, the employee should have knowledge in HAIPE encryption devices, BGAN and INMARSAT networks, and LAN/ WAN

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$71,500 - $150,200
