Position Overview
The QMS Engineer is responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the company's Quality Management System while ensuring compliance with ISO standards and customer requirements. This position manages certification activities, leads internal and customer audits, supports engineering change processes, conducts root cause investigations, and implements corrective actions that improve manufacturing quality and operational performance. :contentReference[oaicite:1]index=1

Key Responsibilities
• Manage daily ISO 9001 and QC080000 compliance activities
• Coordinate ISO certification activities with third-party registrars
• Lead UL safety audits and compliance initiatives
• Review and manage ECR/ECO change requests through closure
• Conduct weekly ECO status meetings
• Lead internal audits and Management Review Meetings (MRM)
• Support customer audits, SCAR investigations, 8D corrective actions, and root cause analysis
• Coordinate line qualification activities and customer audit readiness
• Conduct ESD internal audits and certification activities
• Drive cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Minimum 5 Years of Product Engineering Experience Including Design, Development, Testing, and Manufacturing Processes REQUIRED
• Minimum 2 Years of Supervisory or Team Leadership Experience REQUIRED
• Strong Knowledge of ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and Quality Management Systems REQUIRED
• Experience Conducting Internal, External, and Customer Audits REQUIRED
• Experience Managing ISO Certification Activities REQUIRED
• Experience with Root Cause Analysis, 8D Corrective Actions, and Regulatory Compliance REQUIRED
• Proficiency with Minitab and Quality Management Tools REQUIRED
• Familiarity with Quality Management Software REQUIRED
• Strong Cross-Functional Leadership, Communication, and Project Management Skills REQUIRED
• Ability to Manage Multiple Priorities in a Manufacturing Environment REQUIRED
• CQE (Certified Quality Engineer) Preferred
• ISO Lead Auditor Certification Preferred
• Experience with UL Safety Standards Preferred
• Experience with ESD Compliance Preferred
