Job Description

As a Transportation Security Officer Full Time: Unarmed Patrol Service in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. Requirements:

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam

 

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and government stakeholders while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas in accordance with site procedures, reporting unauthorized access attempts and coordinating with appropriate airport or law enforcement personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and maintain professional communication with Allied Universal supervision and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
