Summary:
Daily Substitute Teachers are in on-call positions, covering classes for teachers who are absent – implementing lesson plans for the day; Demonstrating good classroom/behavior management skills in order to maintain a safe learning environment; Adhering to school policies and procedures; Communicating with school personnel as needed.

Qualifications:
Minimum two years college/university coursework
Experience working with children in an educational setting or child care/camp setting
Knowledge and understanding of child development and/or adolescent needs
Ability to provide/implement appropriate instructional activities for elementary and/or secondary school students
Demonstrated proficiency in American Sign Language required

All employees hired must undergo and pay for a background investigation if selected for the job and must be cleared before starting first day on the job. Current fee for the investigation can range from $35.50 to $135 depending on your location
Background Check and SARP must be in good standing
Compensation: $20.50 per hour
Hours: 8:00 am - 3:30 pm
