Make a difference when support matters most.
CSAC is seeking a compassionate, grounded professional to support individuals experiencing psychiatric crises, substance use concerns, acute intoxication, and other behavioral health needs. You’ll provide short-term stabilization, crisis support, and connections to ongoing services using trauma-informed, recovery-oriented, and harm reduction approaches.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Provide crisis intervention, supportive counseling, de-escalation, and stabilization.
· Monitor individual safety and respond to changing medical, behavioral, or psychiatric needs.
· Assist with intake, documentation, discharge planning, and connections to community resources.
· Collaborate with treatment teams, medical providers, Emergency Services, and community partners.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
· Bachelor’s degree in a related field and relevant experience, or a comparable combination of experience and knowledge.
· Strong interpersonal, organizational, and crisis-response skills.
· Ability to remain calm, maintain professional boundaries, and exercise sound judgment.
· Familiarity with trauma-informed care, crisis intervention, recovery-oriented practices, and harm reduction.
· CPR/First Aid certification.
Preferred: Experience with psychiatric emergencies, substance use disorders, or co-occurring conditions.
SCHEDULE and COMPENSATION
Full-time position at 40 hours a week. Schedule: 2 overnights (5pm-9am) and one day shift (9am-5pm), which includes weekends. $21.43/hour with shift differentials of plus $5 for overnight, and plus $4 for evening hours.
