Key Essential Functions/Duties:
- Design, implement, and evaluate a structured training framework supporting manufacturing operations.
- Partner with Operations, Quality, Food Safety, Safety, and Continuous Improvement teams to identify learning needs and skill gaps.
- Develop structured onboarding programs for production employees, supervisors, and leaders.
- Establish training curricula and career pathways for frontline manufacturing employees.
- Implement systems to track training completion, skill development, and compliance requirements.
- Develop talent review processes across all levels of the organization.
- Utilize workforce analytics and talent metrics to identify trends and recommend organizational improvements.
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners and business leaders to address organizational effectiveness and workforce development needs.
- Design and facilitate leadership development programs for frontline supervisors, managers, and senior leaders.
- Develop solutions to enhance manager effectiveness in coaching, feedback, employee relations, performance management, and change leadership.
- Evaluate training effectiveness through performance outcomes, operational metrics, and employee feedback.
- Develop communication plans supporting business initiatives, organizational changes, and culture programs.
- Manage communication channels and content including announcements, leadership updates, employee campaigns, and engagement initiatives.
- Serve as a champion of organizational culture and company values.
- Lead initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, recognition, inclusion, and connection across the workforce.
- Design programs that support positive employee experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
- Facilitate culture assessments and engagement surveys, analyzing results and developing action plans.
Education/Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education, Communications, or related field required.
- Master's degree preferred.
Experience
- 6+ years of progressive Human Resources, Organizational Development, Talent Management, or Learning & Development experience.
- Experience supporting manufacturing, food manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments strongly preferred.
- Experience in a union environment preferred.
- Demonstrated success building leadership development programs and training frameworks from the ground up.
- Experience facilitating leadership training and organizational change initiatives.
- Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and HRIS platforms, preferably Workday.
