Description

At Polaris Inc., we have fun doing what we love by driving change and innovation. We empower employees to take on challenging assignments and roles with an elevated level of responsibility in our agile working environment. Our people make us who we are, and we create incredible products and experiences that empower us to THINK OUTSIDE.

Position Overview:

You will lead color and graphics project execution for Off-Road Vehicle programs across multiple platforms each model year. In this role, you will manage project requirements, schedules, budgets, deliverables, BOM structures, validation activities, and engineering changes to support successful program execution. You will work closely with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and cross-functional partners to deliver graphics and finish solutions that meet cost, quality, durability, performance, and timing objectives. This is a compelling opportunity to contribute to highly visible product elements while building broad exposure across product development, manufacturing, supplier management, and launch execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end execution of ORV color and graphics programs, ensuring requirements are defined, documented, tracked, and achieved.
  • Manage project schedules, budgets, deliverables, and milestones to support cost, quality, durability, performance, and timing objectives.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment with engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and other stakeholders to support program execution.
  • Facilitate graphics reviews from kickoff through 3D design reviews, including participation in in-person sessions as needed.
  • Oversee decal development from concept through production, including part creation, approvals, and release of drawings and kits.
  • Execute and maintain Bill of Materials structures to reflect model aesthetics and graphics milestones.
  • Initiate and monitor validation activities for new finishes and graphics materials, including mitigation planning for high-risk content.
  • Prepare and coordinate engineering change orders related to decal modifications.
  • Support pilot builds on-site by providing direction and training to help ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing and quality issues related to materials, tolerances, and color verification.
  • Track program finances, including labor, tooling, and expenses, and report status to appropriate stakeholders.

Desired Competencies:

  • Planning & Organization: You manage time, resources, and priorities effectively to meet deadlines and deliver consistent results.
  • Communication: You clearly convey information, ideas, and expectations to diverse audiences, adjusting your message to ensure understanding and alignment.
  • Collaboration: You work effectively with others across functions and levels, contributing to shared goals while respecting different perspectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a business setting with strong process orientation, including at least 2 years of project management experience.
  • Product development experience is preferred.
  • Proven ability to plan, organize, and execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with CAD systems and BOM management is preferred.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Effective decision-making, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to coach, mentor, and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Experience with AS400 and Polaris Release System is preferred.
  • This position is not eligible for sponsorship.
