- Collaborate with program offices, prime contractors, designers, parts manufacturers, test labs, and government stakeholders.
- Create, review, and refine detailed test plans and related documentation.
- Provide full life‑cycle engineering support for strategic defense systems.
- Participate in DLA audits, JEDEC working groups, and reviews of military performance specs and test methods—helping shape industry and defense standards.
- Travel 25–50% to support audits, reviews, meetings, and program engagements.
Minimum Qualifications

- Familiarity with (or willingness to learn) best design practices for IEEE components.
- Basic understanding of military industry standards (MIL‑STD).
- Ability to analyze differences across part standards and apply them appropriately.
- Strong communication skills for engagement with customers, program offices, colleagues, and contractors.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to learn advanced functions.
- Ability to write clear, accurate technical reports.
- Basic understanding of electrical testing of IEEE parts.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance; U.S. citizenship required
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced component engineering experience focused on quality and reliability of IEEE parts.
- Experience with discrete, passive, digital, or analog devices.
- Deep knowledge of best design practices for IEEE components, especially ICs and related manufacturing processes.
- Understanding differences between military, industry, commercial, and automotive standards.
- Strong Excel skills (complex formulas, macros, automation).
- Strong understanding of electrical testing of IEEE parts and ability to perform basic benchtop testing.
- Active Secret Clearance.
