Join the Customer Onboarding team and lead the Digital Authorization Tool, Caterpillar's enterprise capability for collecting, managing, auditing, and enforcing customer telematics authorizations. This role is responsible for maximizing product value, defining product strategy and roadmap, and ensuring customers, dealers, and internal applications can securely manage telematics consent at scale.

 

What You Will Do

• Own the product roadmap, backlog, and business priorities for the Digital Authorization Tool.
• Partner with dealers, customers, legal, privacy, compliance, product, and engineering teams to define and deliver authorization capabilities.
• Define requirements for collecting, storing, validating, and revoking telematics authorizations across Caterpillar digital platforms.
• Ensure authorization data supports customer onboarding, asset management, connectivity experiences.
• Translate business objectives into epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Measure adoption, operational efficiency, compliance outcomes, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive prioritization decisions that balance customer needs, business value, regulatory requirements, and technical constraints.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery and communicate roadmap progress, risks, and key decisions to stakeholders.

 

Role Definition

Provides day-to-day support to customers and field service staff in relation to product implementation, 
customization, questions, and problems.

Responsibilities
•    Coordinates with product development engineers to track and communicate design, development, support, and maintenance problems and solutions.
•    Identifies, documents, and reports design, reliability and maintenance problems and bugs. Gathers and consolidates feedback from customers and field staff.
•    Coordinates with field support specialists and customers to address and resolve problems and expand product usage.
•    Answers customer and field support questions; provides guidance and support for product integration and infrastructure issues.

Skill Descriptors

Business Analysis: Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.
Software Engineering: Knowledge of software engineering; ability to deliver new or enhanced fee-based software products.
Software Problem Management: Knowledge of strategies, practices and tools for resolving software problems; ability to manage software problems in installed software products.

Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

Software Product Business Knowledge: Knowledge of and experience with the business aspects and operation of a software product; ability to manage install base, current uses, future plans, and product vision.

Basic requirements: 

- Bachelor’s degree  

- Pre-Advanced English
