Panera Internship Program - Summer 2027

Program Duration: Summer 2027, 10 weeks

Program Dates: June 7 – August 13, 2027

Hybrid Work: Minimum of 3 days per week onsite at our Newton, MA Support Center. Company headquarters is expected to relocate to Weston, MA in July 2027 with a 4 day onsite requirement.

Program Pay: 40 hours per week at $25.00 per hour

Come RISE with Panera! As a member of Panera's inaugural Summer Internship Program, you'll gain hands-on experience working alongside leaders and teams across the Support Center while contributing to real business priorities. Over the course of 10 weeks, you'll be embedded within a team, own meaningful work, and develop a practical understanding of how Panera operates, innovates, and serves guests every day.

Designed as a key pipeline into Panera's Starter Leadership Development Program and future Support Center (Corporate) opportunities, this internship is a career launching experience!

What You'll Do

As a Panera Intern, you will:

  • Contribute to day-to-day business priorities within your assigned function
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve real business challenges
  • Develop recommendations and insights that support business objectives
  • Build an understanding of Panera's operations, culture, and strategy
  • Participate in leadership development and professional learning experiences
  • Complete a case study project alongside an Executive Sponsor and present recommendations to our top leaders at the conclusion of the program

The Intern Experience

The Panera Internship Program is designed to provide a meaningful and challenging experience through a combination of:

  • Real Business Impact: Work on projects that contribute directly to Panera's business objectives and support the priorities of your team.
  • Professional Development: Participate in structured learning focused on business acumen, communication, leadership, and career readiness.
  • Leader Exposure: Learn from Panera leaders through executive sessions, networking events, and career conversations.
  • Coaching & Feedback: Receive ongoing support from your manager, program team, and business leaders throughout the summer.

Basic Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited university with an expected graduation date in Summer 2028
  • Ability to work full-time throughout the 10-week internship program
  • Authorization to work in the United States without immigration related support or sponsorship from Panera in order to begin the program or continue employment in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Interest in pursuing a career in business, marketing, operations, supply chain, finance, analytics, or related fields
  • Demonstrated leadership experience through work, student organizations, athletics, volunteerism, or other experiences
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to adapt, take feedback, and work effectively with diverse teams
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills

Recruitment Process

The recruitment process will run on a rolling basis from September – November 2026 and the selection process includes:

The actual pay offered will be determined by multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and geographical location. Individual compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
