Job Description:

The Production Technician is responsible for the building, packaging, and shipping of all PDK access control products. She/He will be able to work quickly and efficiently to ensure all products are assembled, tested, and packaged in a timely manner to meet strict deadlines. Precise inventory management as well as an acute attention to detail are a must.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Build, test, and package product subassemblies or final assemblies efficiently to meet production and shipping deadlines
• Maintain and manage accurate inventory levels of all job materials both physically and inside Inventory Management Software
• Test products or subassemblies for quality and functionality
• Troubleshoot problems with devices or products
• Pick, pack, and ship all orders effectively and efficiently according to carrier and customer specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the day

Required Skills

• Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
• Capable of working independently to a production schedule
• Effective written and oral communication
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
