Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of E&I technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Plan, schedule, and execute preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and calibration activities for all E&I equipment, including motors, control panels, PLCs, sensors, transmitters, and control valves.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electrical and instrumentation issues, implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Develop and implement E&I maintenance procedures, standards, and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards (e.g., electrical codes, instrumentation standards).
- Manage spare parts inventory for E&I components, optimizing stock levels and procurement processes.
- Collaborate with other departments (production, mechanical, operations) to support plant operations and improvement projects.
- Participate in the design, installation, and commissioning of new E&I systems and upgrades.
- Generate reports on E&I performance, maintenance activities, and equipment reliability.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in E&I processes and technologies.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably in the palm oil or oleochemical industry.
- Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, motor control, PLC programming (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley), SCADA systems, and various instrumentation technologies.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, P&IDs, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices related to electrical work (e.g., LOTO procedures).
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- Willing to work Mon - Fri and alternate Sat (half day), no roster.
