Job Responsibilities:
- Perform ECG, echocardiography, Doppler/vascular ultrasound, and exercise stress testing.
- Prepare clients, explain procedures, and ensure their safety and comfort throughout testing.
- Operate, calibrate, troubleshoot, and maintain cardiovascular diagnostic equipment.
- Acquire accurate images, measurements, and tracings according to established protocols.
- Monitor vital signs and recognise and escalate abnormal findings or adverse responses.
- Prepare technical reports and measurement summaries for physician review.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, equipment logs, and consumable inventory.
- Coordinate cardiovascular studies with clients, doctors, and clinic teams.
- Support cardiovascular health screening events, roadshows, and member activities.
- Assist with protocol development, equipment evaluation, and staff training when required.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Cardiovascular Technology, Medical Imaging, Echocardiography, or equivalent.
- Hands-on competency in ECG, echocardiography, and vascular Doppler studies.
- Current BLS certification.
- Experience in cardiology, health screening, or related clinical settings is preferred.
- Good English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Familiarity with PACS and electronic medical records is preferred.
- Willing to work on a 6-day rotational schedule, including weekends.
- Strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, and good adherence to clinical protocols.
