Description
Property Manager
Location: Fully Remote (Home-Based)
Salary: £27,000 - £35,000, depending on experience
Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent
The Opportunity
We're looking for an organised, proactive Property Manager to join a fast-growing Lettings PropTech company, managing a portfolio of residential properties across London — entirely remotely.
This is a role for someone who's comfortable running a portfolio through technology and clear communication rather than site visits. You'll be the main point of contact for landlords and tenants, coordinating everything from routine maintenance to renewals, while working closely with a network of trusted third-party contractors who carry out inspections and repairs on the ground.
You don't need to be in London, and you won't need to attend properties in person — but you do need to be someone who can manage a busy portfolio with precision, stay several steps ahead of problems, and keep landlords and tenants feeling well looked after, all from behind a screen.
What You'll Be Doing
Property Management
Manage a portfolio of residential lettings properties from end to end, acting as the primary contact for landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy lifecycle. Keep on top of renewals, rent reviews and tenancy changes, ensuring nothing is left to the last minute.
Maintenance Coordination
Log, triage and coordinate maintenance requests, instructing and managing third-party contractors to carry out repairs, inspections and compliance checks. Chase jobs through to completion, keeping landlords and tenants updated at every stage without needing to be chased yourself.
Tenant & Landlord Communication
Handle day-to-day queries by phone, email and messaging platforms, resolving issues confidently and professionally. Build trusted relationships with landlords by keeping them informed and giving them confidence their property is being properly looked after, even though you're never on site.
Compliance & Documentation
Track compliance deadlines — gas safety, EICR, EPC and other statutory certificates — ensuring nothing lapses, and that contractor visits are scheduled with enough lead time. Keep tenancy and property records accurate and fully up to date.
Systems & Technology
Work within the company's property management platform and other digital tools daily, using them to manage workflows, track jobs, and communicate with landlords, tenants and contractors. Flag any process gaps or inefficiencies you spot, and suggest improvements — this is a tech-driven business that values people who engage with how the systems work rather than just using them.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone with some background in residential property management or lettings administration, who's ready to take ownership of a portfolio. You don't need years of experience, but you do need to be organised, calm under pressure, and confident communicating with people you'll only ever speak to by phone, email or video.
You'll thrive in this role if you:
- Have prior experience in residential lettings, property management, or a related property administration role.
- Are highly organised and comfortable managing multiple properties and priorities at once.
- Communicate clearly and professionally, and are confident handling difficult conversations remotely.
- Are self-motivated and disciplined working from home, without needing in-person oversight.
- Are comfortable and confident using digital tools and property management software day-to-day.
- Take ownership of problems and see them through, rather than passing them along.
- ARLA/Propertymark qualification is a plus, but not essential — support towards this can be discussed for the right candidate.
What's In It For You
- Salary between £27,000 and £35,000, depending on experience.
- Fully remote — work from home, Monday to Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm, no weekends.
- Join a growing PropTech company at the forefront of how lettings and property management are run.
- A modern, technology-led way of working, without the commute or the need for site visits.
- Genuine opportunity to grow your portfolio and responsibility as the business scales.
The Bottom Line
If you're an organised, tech-comfortable property professional who wants the autonomy of managing your own portfolio from home, without sacrificing the standards landlords and tenants expect, this could be the right next step.
