Product Manager – CAI Application Modernization
Position Summary
Itero Group is seeking an experienced Product Manager to lead the modernization of the CAI application, a critical consumer-services application used to support the intake, management, investigation, and resolution of consumer complaints involving utility companies. The application helps facilitate the exchange of information between consumer-services teams and regulated utilities throughout the complaint-resolution process.
A significant three-year modernization initiative is being launched to transform the CAI application into a modern, efficient, and user-friendly solution. The initiative will include product planning, solution design, development, testing, implementation, and user adoption.
The Product Manager will be responsible for defining the product vision and strategy, establishing and prioritizing the product roadmap, gathering and managing user stories, and leading the solution through design, development, testing, and implementation.
This individual will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, solution architects, UX/UI resources, and vendors to ensure the modernized application meets current and future business needs while aligning with applicable standards for enterprise architecture, security, accessibility, privacy, and compliance.
Work Arrangement
This is a hybrid position. Candidates are expected to work onsite in Pennsylvania two days per week. Wednesday is a required in-office day. The remaining three days per week may be worked remotely/from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the CAI application modernization initiative.
- Elicit, document, prioritize, and manage business and functional requirements and user stories from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clearly defined user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlog items.
- Collaborate with solution architects, developers, UX/UI designers, and vendors to define modern technical approaches, including platform, architecture, and integration decisions.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, and technical work based on business value, risk, dependencies, and strategic objectives.
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies as needed, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and the technical delivery team.
- Define success metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the modernized CAI application and track progress against established goals.
- Support organizational change management, user adoption, communications, and training efforts associated with the modernized solution.
- Ensure the product complies with applicable requirements related to security, accessibility (WCAG), data privacy, and regulatory compliance.
- Identify project and product risks, dependencies, and impediments and drive them through resolution.
- Provide regular status updates, recommendations, and product insights to IT leadership and business sponsors.
If you are looking for a role where you will lead with integrity, create and innovate, inspire excellence, be a respected member of the team, drive results, and have fun, we look forward to connecting with you!
