Electrical Service Manager

Residential Electrical
Bardi Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Electrical is looking for an experienced Electrical Service Manager to lead and grow our residential electrical service team. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows the electrical trade, understands the residential service business, and knows how to develop technicians while driving strong operational and financial results.
As Electrical Service Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day performance of the electrical service department, including technician coaching, revenue performance, customer experience, quality of work, safety, and overall team accountability.
What You’ll Do
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of residential Service Electricians
- Drive department performance around revenue, average ticket, conversion, memberships, callbacks, and other key service KPIs
- Conduct regular ride-alongs, coaching sessions, one-on-ones, and performance reviews
- Train technicians on technical skills, customer communication, service processes, and presenting solutions
- Set clear expectations and hold the team accountable for performance
- Review daily and weekly department results and develop action plans when performance is below goal
- Partner with Dispatch, Customer Service, Sales, Install, and other departments to create a strong customer experience
- Ensure jobs are completed safely, professionally, and in accordance with applicable electrical codes and company standards
- Help resolve escalated customer concerns and technical issues
- Assist with recruiting, interviewing, onboarding, and developing new electricians
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, profitability, and technician capacity
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels to support company growth
- Build a culture centered around accountability, development, teamwork, and taking care of the customer
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in residential electrical service
- Previous leadership or management experience in the electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or home-services industry strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of residential electrical systems, troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and code requirements
- Proven ability to coach and develop service technicians
- Comfortable managing KPIs, revenue goals, and individual technician performance
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to have difficult conversations and hold employees accountable while maintaining a positive team environment
- Highly organized and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced service environment
- Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
