Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and analytically minded graduate student to join our team and gain hands-on experience working on real-world operations and business challenges. This role will provide exposure to supply strategy, data analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), workflow automation, and strategic initiatives.

 

Working closely with the team, the student worker will help analyze business processes, develop data-driven solutions, explore opportunities to apply AI and automation, and create tools and insights that support business decision-making. This is an opportunity for a student who enjoys solving problems, working with data, experimenting with new technologies, and translating ideas into practical solutions.

 

Key responsibilities for this role include:

Data Analytics & Visualization

• Support the collection, organization, analysis, and interpretation of data to generate actionable business insights.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and analytical tools to provide visibility into strategic initiatives and operational performance.
• Help automate recurring analyses and reporting activities.

Process Improvement & Workflow Automation

• Support the development and automation of efficient workflows that integrate digital and AI-enabled tools into existing business processes.
• Analyze current processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for simplification or automation.
• Help develop scalable solutions that improve productivity, consistency, and visibility.
• Document workflows, processes, and solutions to support adoption and future use.

AI & Digital Solutions

• Assist in designing, building, and testing AI-enabled solutions for specific business needs.
• Develop and refine prompts and workflows to improve the accuracy, relevance, and usability of AI-generated outputs.
• Explore emerging AI capabilities and identify practical opportunities to apply them to operations and business processes.

Perform other duties as assigned.

The minimum qualifications for this role are:

• Currently enrolled in a graduate degree program in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
• Advanced Excel Proficiency: Ability to independently use Excel for complex data analysis, transformation, visualization and automation, including advanced PivotTables/PivotCharts, Power Query, Power Pivot/DAX, advanced formulas, VBA/macros and interactive dashboards. Design robust, scalable and automated Excel solutions that translate complex business data into actionable insights. Ability to combine multiple data sources and automate recurring analysis/reporting.
• Familiarity with MS Office suite.
• Ability to organize information and communicate findings clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eagerness to learn and work with new technologies.
• Proficiency in speaking, comprehending, reading and writing English is required.

The preferred qualifications for this role are:

• Exposure to generative AI tools, prompt engineering, AI-assisted workflows, or automation platforms.
• Familiarity with Python, SQL, Power Automate, or other analytical/automation tools is a plus.
