PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (PTA)

As a PTA at Haven, you will work alongside a collaborative team of therapists and clinicians to provide skilled physical therapy services that help clients remain safe, independent, and active in their own homes. You will build relationships with clients and families while helping them work toward the goals outlined in their individualized plan of care.

What You’ll Do

• Provide skilled physical therapy services under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Implement individualized plans of care based on physician orders and client needs.
• Monitor client progress and communicate changes with the supervising PT and care team.
• Provide preventive and rehabilitative therapy interventions.
• Educate clients and families on self-management, safety, and physical therapy needs.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with other Haven clinicians to provide coordinated, client-centered care.
• Participate in department meetings, in-services, clinical outcomes, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Uphold Haven policies, professional standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.

What We’re Looking For

• Current Missouri PTA license in good standing
• At least one year of PTA experience within the last three years
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to build meaningful relationships with clients, families, and fellow team members
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently
• Comfortable with technology and electronic documentation
• Dependable transportation and a current driver’s license
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed
