HR Wise LLC is looking for an experienced, organized, team oriented, and service minded Payroll Account Manager to join our growing team.The ideal candidate will have at least three years of hands on payroll experience, specifically with Paylocity and ADP RUN. This person will be responsible for managing multiple client payroll accounts while providing a high level of accuracy, communication, responsiveness, and customer service.

Responsibilities
• Process payroll for multiple HR Wise client accounts from start to finish
• Process regular, off cycle, bonus, commission, and other special payrolls as needed
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate employee information for new hires, pay changes, benefit deductions, terminations, and other employee changes
• Complete new hire payroll setup and ensure employee information is accurately entered into the payroll system
• Enter and maintain benefit deductions and ensure deductions are accurately reflected in payroll
• Process employee terminations and ensure final pay is calculated and processed in accordance with applicable state and federal requirements
• Review payroll for accuracy, including wages, deductions, benefits, taxes, PTO, garnishments, and other payroll related items
• Work directly in Paylocity and ADP RUN to process payroll and maintain accurate employee information
• Coordinate payroll changes and obtain client approval prior to processing
• Maintain accurate payroll records and follow established HR Wise SOPs
• Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies and resolve issues promptly
• Communicate with clients regarding payroll deadlines, changes, questions, and corrections
• Partner closely with the HR Wise HR team to ensure new hires, terminations, pay changes, benefits, and other employee changes are accurately reflected in payroll
• Maintain working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and requirements
• Stay informed of changes to payroll laws, tax requirements, final pay requirements, wage and hour regulations, and other payroll related compliance requirements
• Assist with payroll tax and compliance related questions and escalate issues when appropriate
• Maintain strict confidentiality of employee and client information
• Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes, accuracy, and efficiency
• Provide a professional, responsive, and positive client experience
Qualifications
• Minimum of three years of hands on payroll processing experience
• Strong experience with Paylocity and ADP RUN required
• Experience managing payroll for multiple clients or entities strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of payroll processing, deductions, taxes, PTO, benefits, wage changes, and final pay requirements
• Working knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations
• Strong understanding of state specific final pay requirements
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple clients and deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills
• Team oriented with a willingness to collaborate, support coworkers, share knowledge, and contribute to the success of the entire team
• Ability to work independently while also being an active and supportive team member
• Strong data entry and computer skills
• Strong problem solving and follow through skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other common business technology
