PURPOSE OF POSITION 
The Food & Beverage Expeditor is responsible for picking up and delivering goods, orders, and items purchased from vendors to the requesting department. This position supports multiple departments by ensuring timely, accurate, and safe deliveries, while maintaining proper records and vehicle standards. 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Coordinate with manager on daily deliveries and any special instructions for pickups or drop-offs. 

• Pick up and deliver items such as liquor, lunches, laundry, mail, and supplies (including local and Salt Lake expediting). 

• Obtain petty cash from manager for cash purchases, collect receipts, and reconcile at the end of each day. 

• Inspect goods and receipts for damage or shortages; notify manager or parts room coordinator if issues cannot be resolved at time of pick up. 

• Periodically check in with manager for additional stops or instructions. 

• Maintain accurate records of pick-ups and deliveries, including who received items. 

• Ensure expediting vehicle is cleaned daily (inside and out) and comply with operator checkout procedures, especially in winter conditions. 

• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of the Maintenance Facility Warehouse, recycling efforts, and logs. 

• Cross-train and support other departmental duties as assigned. 

• Safely operate forklifts, trucks, vans, and other apparatus as trained. 

• Other duties as assigned. 

QUALIFICATIONS 

• Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and be comfortable operating mid- to full-size trucks/vans in winter conditions. 

• Must be at least 21 years old. 

• Must be able to lift, maneuver, position, remove, and install heavy items with or without assistance. 

• Must be physically capable of working on-call, weekends, and holidays. 

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. 

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

PAY RATE: 

• Pay: $20.50 per hour
