Job Summary:

The Director, Integrated Business Testing is accountable for ensuring that business transformation initiatives are thoroughly validated, business‑ready, and fit for operational use prior to deployment. This role establishes and governs enterprise testing strategy, ensuring solutions meet business requirements, support critical operations, and minimize disruption at go‑live. The Testing Lead partners closely with Program Leads, business stakeholders, and enablement teams to ensure real‑world scenarios are tested and validated. This role also plays a critical role in managing quality risk and building confidence in deployment readiness.

 

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Define and own the enterprise testing strategy across transformation initiatives, aligned to business readiness and risk tolerance.
• Establish testing standards, approaches, and governance for functional, integration, and business‑scenario testing.
• Partner with Program Leads to define testing scope, priorities, and success criteria.
• Ensure robust business participation in testing activities, including representation of real‑world scenarios, peak volumes, and exception cases.
• Coordinate testing schedules and dependencies across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Monitor test execution progress, defect trends, and quality indicators; escalate risks as needed.
• Ensure issues identified during testing are clearly prioritized, tracked, and resolved.
• Partner with Process Redesign, OCM, and Training teams to validate readiness from an end‑to‑end business perspective.
• Support go‑live decision‑making by providing clear, data‑driven assessments of readiness and residual risk.
• Participate in cutover planning and readiness checkpoints to ensure testing outcomes support deployment decisions.
• Capture lessons learned and continuously improve testing practices across waves.
• Other duties as assigned.

 

Experience & Education:

• Minimum of 10–12 years of experience leading testing, quality assurance, or readiness activities for large‑scale transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience in leading validation/Testing effort for complex, cross‑functional solutions for large scale enterprise wide transformation
• Strong experience working with business stakeholders to define and validate testing scenarios.
• Proven ability to manage risk, quality, and readiness in high‑visibility programs.
• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.

 

Minimum Skills, Knowledge, & Abilities:

• Strong understanding of enterprise testing strategies and quality management principles.
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective testing approaches.
• Excellent analytical skills to assess readiness, quality trends, and risk exposure.
• Proven ability to influence program and business leaders on readiness and risk decisions.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey testing outcomes to executive audiences.
• High attention to detail balanced with enterprise‑level perspective.

 

Other Requirements:

• Ability to operate in a dynamic, time‑bound (3–5 year) transformation environment.

• Ability to support extended hours during testing cycles and deployment readiness windows.
• Travel as required to support key testing events and readiness reviews.
