Description
Borman is seeking applicants for entry-level openings in the Manganese Dioxide Unit of our facility. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age to work in a chemical production environment. This position requires the candidate to be self-motivated and have a working knowledge of material handling equipment.
Requirements
- Experience in the construction or laborer field.
- Ability to work flexible hours and varied shifts.
- Comfortable working in diverse weather conditions, including hot and cold environments.
- Capable of physical tasks such as lifting, bending, carrying, stooping, and walking both indoors and outdoors.
- Open to work in various departments.
- Familiarity with hand tools and basic operating equipment.
- Ability to work around moving equipment.
- Eager to learn and excel in assigned tasks
Education & Experience
- Reading and math skills are comparable to those of a high school education.
- Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English.
- Good communications skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.
* Please note that this is NOT a warehouse position.
Schedule
Shift work on a rotating schedule for a facility that operates 24 hours a day / 7 days a week with overtime as needed.
Salary & Benefits
Starting salary is $27.92 hourly for the first 90-days. Position includes full benefits commencing on date of hire, including medical, dental, and vision care coverage, 401(k) participation. Benefits also included 10 paid holidays, vacation, and PTO.
