Winter 2027 Course Lecturer Position

The Department of Economics is inviting applications for a course lecturer position to teach in Winter 2027. Please include your Cover Letter and Curriculum Vitae and if applicable a copy of your Study/Work Permit. A brief course outline is optional.
ECON 333-001 Macroeconomic Theory - Majors 2 (3 Credits – CAP 301)
A review of basic economic concepts and tools with an in depth and critical presentation of the fundamental areas of macroeconomic theory. Topics include: money and banking and business cycles, stabilization policy, and international finance.
Teaching Qualification Requirements:
- Doctoral level study in Economics, including completed comprehensive examinations for the PhD, or completed PhD degree in Economics;
- Evidence of highly effective teaching ability or of superior communications skills and potential for teaching excellence;
- The candidate's area of specialization should be as close as possible to that of the course being offered;
- Experience as a teaching assistant for a course is an asset.
Monday and Wednesday 04:05 pm-05:25 pm, January 5, 2027 – April 14, 2027. Location: STBIO S1/4.
Salary: $11,824 per course.
