Job Description:
This job is responsible for managing the day to day investment oversight responsibilities for assigned book of business, Total Portfolio Review and other Private Bank risk monitoring controls. Key responsibilities include identifying an appropriate investment action plan and continuously monitoring adherence. Job expectations include assisting internal business partners drive risk mitigation, maintaining current knowledge of firm products and solutions, and overseeing a book of business with attention to detail.
The Portfolio Oversight Manager I (POM) partners with leadership, Products, BSM II, and cross-functional business partners to support risk management, operational oversight, process governance, and strategic initiatives. This role serves as a key liaison between the line of business and supervisory teams, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, operational policies, and enterprise standards while driving process improvements and business execution. Responsibilities include monitoring supervisory activities, identifying control gaps, audit items, administrative items, and supporting the Business Support Manager II.
Responsibilities:
- Works to understand the client's situation and circumstances to develop and recommend an investment strategy tailored to their unique goals
- Collaborates with teammates to deliver the Bank's full array of integrated solutions
- Stays up-to-date on recommendations from the Chief Investment Office, current market conditions, and economic trends to anticipate and mitigate investment
- Partners with a diverse group of constituents in order to bring about optimum outcomes and increased client satisfaction
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or related field, preferred, not required
- Strong knowledge of wealth management, brokerage, trust, banking, or supervisory operations.
- Experience working with regulatory requirements, risk management, and operational controls.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage competing priorities.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Takes ownership of projects and independently drives workstreams from conception through execution.
Minimum Education Requirement: High School Diploma / GED / Secondary School or equivalent
