Description
Would you like to be part of a company that is employee owned? We invite you to consider joining WYATT.
As a Project Engineer supporting power generation and heavy industrial construction projects, you will play a key role in coordinating field execution, project controls, planning, scheduling, quality assurance, and subcontractor management. This position works closely with project managers, field supervision, clients, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with technical and contractual requirements. Your contributions will directly support successful project outcomes, operational excellence, and customer satisfaction across complex industrial construction environments.

Throughout the day, you will perform site walks to verify safety compliance, monitor productivity and quality, review drawings and specifications, and help resolve technical and operational challenges that arise during project execution. You will support planning and scheduling activities, manage project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, and change orders, and assist with cost tracking, forecasting, and project controls reporting. Working closely with project managers, craft supervisors, inspectors, suppliers, and customers, you will help coordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractor performance while contributing to commissioning, startup, outage, shutdown, and project closeout activities. Your ability to make sound decisions, communicate effectively, and maintain a strong focus on safety, quality, and construction execution will contribute directly to successful project delivery and business performance.
