At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.Those in deal integration and valuation realisation at PwC will focus on assisting clients in successfully integrating acquisitions and maximising the value of their investments. You will be responsible for conducting valuations, financial analysis, and developing strategies for post-merger integration.
Key Responsibilities:
· Research and insight generation: Conduct company, market, and industry research to support client engagements, proposals and thought leadership initiatives.
· Financial and operational analysis: Analyse financial statements, operational data, and business performance metrics to identify trends, risks, improvement opportunities, and value creation levers.
· Problem solving: Participate in brainstorming sessions, hypothesis development, and structured problem-solving activities to help teams address complex business challenges.
· Data and technology enablement: Utilize data analytics and AI-enabled tools to improve analysis quality, efficiency, and insight generation.
· Client deliverables: Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, financial analyses and working papers that communicate findings clearly and effectively.
· Stakeholder collaboration: Work closely with team members and client personnel to collect information, validate findings and support project delivery.
· Business development support: Contribute to proposal preparation, thought leaderships, and other business development activities.
Qualifications and other requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Supply Chain or a related field.
· 1–3 years of experience in consulting, transformation, finance, operations, supply chain or related fields.
· Good understanding of financial statements, including P&L, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow, with the ability to analyze business performance and identify key drivers.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including analyzing and interpreting data to draw meaningful conclusions.
· Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to prepare structured analyses and professional presentations.
