Warehouse Manager

Description

• Strategically mange the warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
• Direct all receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations
• Ensure effective, safe operations by implementing operational policies and procedures
• Ensure effective and safe use of warehouse equipment
• Ensure safety of staff and compliance with OSHA regulations
• Effectively manage staff regarding performance, safety, and productivity
• Maintain documentation and keeping accurate records of warehouse activities
• Maintain awareness and knowledge of condition and location of fleet vehicles
• Produce reports and statistics regularly
• Works closely with Human Resources to recruit, select, orient, train, coach, and motivate employees
• Works cross-functionally with other departments regarding inventory, scheduling, and dispatch
• In collaboration with leadership, set warehouse and team goals

Requirements

• 5+ years warehouse management experience
• Excellent understanding of warehouse management procedures
• Proficient knowledge of inventory and inventory controls
• Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
• Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Ability to analyze data and activities to identify process breakdown
• Proficient with computer and software to include Microsoft and ability to learn internal software programs
• Strong leadership, organizational, interpersonal, decision making, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of OSHA standards
• Ability to operate forklift effectively
• Possess a valid drivers' license

Preferred Experience:

• Bilingual (English/Spanish)
• DOT knowledge
