Logistics Operations Analyst
Working Location: Beaverton, Oregon (Hybrid, onsite at least 3 days a week)
Role Description
We are seeking a Logistics Operations Analyst to support Global Logistics operations at Tektronix, based at our Beaverton Factory. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence across domestic and international transportation activities through data analysis, process improvement, supplier performance management, and cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will play a key role in optimizing logistics performance, reducing transportation costs, improving customer service, and supporting strategic supply chain initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage performance, service levels, and cost metrics for US-based third-party logistics providers, carriers, and freight forwarders.
- Serve as the primary logistics liaison between Manufacturing Operations, Service Operations, Order Management, Procurement, Finance, and logistics providers.
- Analyze transportation, warehousing, and freight spend data to identify trends, improvement opportunities, and cost reduction initiatives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain logistics KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to support business decision making.
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for transportation, shipping, documentation, system, and service-related issues.
- Identify, develop, and project manage logistics cost savings and network optimization initiatives that support the Global Logistics strategy.
- Partner with logistics providers to establish and continuously improve standard work, operational procedures, and service performance.
- Support freight payment processes, auditing, and issue resolution activities.
- Utilize data analytics and continuous improvement methodologies to improve logistics performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency.
- Participate in strategic logistics initiatives including carrier management, process automation, ERP enhancements, AI-enabled solutions, and supply chain transformation projects.
- Deliver results that meet or exceed regional and global operating plan objectives.
Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Management, Global Logistics, or a related field preferred but not required.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, or warehouse operations.
- Experience managing transportation providers, freight forwarders, parcel carriers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Working knowledge of domestic and international transportation, trade compliance, and global supply chain operations.
- Experience utilizing ERP systems (Oracle EBS preferred), WMS, TMS, and business intelligence tools.
- Advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, pivot tables, and reporting.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, or other analytics tools preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects, manage competing priorities, and drive measurable business results.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking capabilities.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse global teams.
- Comfortable working in a globally distributed team environment, with the flexibility to accommodate meetings and critical business activities across North America, Europe, and Asia.

- Continuous improvement mindset with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen experience.
- Experience with freight spend analysis and transportation cost reduction projects.
- Strong customer focus and commitment to operational excellence.
- Experience supporting digital transformation, AI, or automation initiatives within supply chain operations.
- Leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders, drive initiatives, and build effective working relationships.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 58500.00-108500.00
