The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our patrons, demonstrating excellent communication skills and a positive attitude to enhance the dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements
- Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently to minimize wait times
- Provide menus and answer initial questions about the restaurant and menu items
- Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure timely seating and service
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any concerns promptly and courteously
- Assist with other front-of-house duties as needed to support team operations
Requirements
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Friendly, approachable demeanor with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Basic knowledge of reservation systems and POS software is a plus
