What You'll Do
- Provide daily care for boarding and hospitalized pets, including feeding and watering
- Walk, bathe, and provide enrichment for dogs and cats
- Monitor pets for changes in behavior, appetite, or overall condition and report concerns to the veterinary team
- Maintain clean and sanitized kennels, cages, runs, and hospital areas
- Assist with basic animal handling and restraint when supporting the veterinary team
- Complete laundry, dishes, stocking, and other daily hospital cleaning tasks
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and comfortable environment for patients
- Interact with clients in a friendly and professional manner when needed
What We're Looking For
- 18+ years old with a high school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience with animals, veterinary care, kennels, boarding, daycare, shelters, or customer service is a plus but not required
- Genuine interest in animal care and veterinary medicine
- Comfortable safely handling dogs and cats of different sizes and temperaments
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow established procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to recognize signs of stress or illness in pets
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and remain active throughout the shift
- Evening and weekend availability required
- Holiday availability may be required
- Flexibility to support boarding and hospitalized pets outside of standard business hours
- Schedule will be discussed based on hospital needs and candidate availability
