  • Maintain and enhance client portfolio analytics, including exposure, diversification, risk, return, cash flow, valuation, and benchmark reporting.
  • Calculate, interpret, and communicate historical and projected portfolio performance; identify key drivers of variance and emerging risks or opportunities.
  • Build and improve models that support portfolio construction, scenario analysis, funding strategy, liquidity planning, and strategic allocation decisions.

Investment and transaction support

  • Evaluate acquisition and disposition opportunities, including valuation sensitivities, return forecasts, capital needs, and fit with portfolio strategy.
  • Assist in developing acquisition funding strategies, investment offering materials, investment memoranda, and operating or financial models.
  • Support due diligence by coordinating data inputs from asset management, finance, operations, legal, sustainability, and other relevant teams.

Client reporting and communication

  • Prepare high-quality materials for client portfolio reviews, investment committee updates, and other portfolio-level discussions.
  • Draft portfolio commentary, investment discussion and analysis, and narrative explanations that accompany financial reports.
  • Respond to client data requests with timely, accurate, and well-supported analysis; participate with Portfolio Managers in client meetings as appropriate.

Market, asset, and plan review

  • Monitor global agriculture markets, commodity trends, water, inflation, interest rates, policy developments, and other macroeconomic factors relevant to agriculture portfolios.
  • Model and review property-level budgets, capital plans, hold/sell analyses, and long-term management plans for consistency with portfolio objectives.
  • Identify implications of market and property-level developments for portfolio construction, risk management, and client communication.

Process improvement and team effectiveness

  • Improve analytical processes, data quality, reporting templates, and repeatable workflows to increase accuracy, speed, and scalability.
  • Coordinate across Portfolio Management, Client Services, Asset Management, Finance, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure portfolio information is complete and consistent.
  • Support other ad hoc portfolio management and client relationship priorities as needed.

Required Qualifications:

  • 0–4 years of relevant experience in investment analysis, financial analysis, portfolio reporting, real assets, agriculture, natural resources, or a related field; additional relevant experience is welcome.

  • Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with Power BI, data visualization, database tools, coding, or workflow automation is a plus.

  • Strong analytical capability, attention to detail, and comfort working with investment, financial, operating, and market datasets across multiple systems.

  • Familiarity with investment reporting, performance measurement, portfolio analytics, valuation, and financial modeling is desirable.

  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to convert complex analysis into clear recommendations and executive-ready materials.

  • Bachelor’s or Graduate degree in business administration, accounting, economics, finance, agriculture, forestry, natural resources, data analytics, or a related field.

  • Client service mindset; prior experience preparing client materials or responding to client questions is an advantage.

  • Strong organizational skills, judgment, accountability, and the ability to manage several workstreams while meeting deadlines.

  • Collaborative style and ability to build and maintain relationships across functions and seniority levels.

  • Commitment to fiduciary responsibility, responsible investment, sustainability, ESG considerations, integrity, and inclusive teamwork.

  • Genuine interest in agriculture/real assets.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Progress toward, or intention to pursue, CFA, CAIA, or another relevant professional designation is desirable.

When you join our team:

  • We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.

  • We’ll recognize and support you in a flexible environment where well-being and inclusion are more than just words.
