Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms and public areas, as well as managing laundry services to ensure a welcoming environment for our guests. Your attention to detail and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Assist with stripping rooms and restocking housekeeping carts.
  • Clean and stock linen closets and storage areas.
  • Launder linens, towels, and other items using appropriate washing techniques.
  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevator and restrooms.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the guest laundry area.
  • Inspect rooms after cleaning to ensure they meet quality standards before guests' arrival.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry products.
  • Clean and maintain meeting rooms, ensuring they're prepared for events.
  • Ensure office areas are clean, organized and presentable for staff and management.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or laundry services, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.
  • Knowledge of laundering techniques is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good physical stamina: must be able to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
  • Outgoing and friendly attitude with a commitment to excellent guest service.
