Description
FALL – HOLIDAY POP-UP | NEW YORK CITY | CREATIVE LIFESTYLE BRAND
This brand exists to prove one simple thing: it's never too late to learn something new. We take complete beginners, people who've genuinely never tried this before, and walk them through it, step by step, until they're holding something they made with their own two hands and thinking, “wait, I actually did that?” That feeling is basically the whole point of what we do.
Here's something specific to this brand: our customers don't just buy one thing and move on, many of them are collectors, and they know exactly what's out of stock, what's rare, and what they're hoping is hiding in the back. That makes stock accuracy and fast replenishment a genuinely big deal for us, not just a behind-the-scenes detail. This fall through the holidays, we're looking for a Keyholder & Operations Lead who takes real pride in running a tight, organized backroom, because when the stock is right, everything on the floor gets to be fun.
The Role
As Keyholder & Operations Lead, you'll own everything happening behind the scenes, inventory accuracy, receiving, replenishment, and merchandise flow, so the sales floor never misses a beat and the team can focus on customers instead of chasing down product. You'll work closely with store leadership and the floor team to keep everything running smoothly, especially during the high-volume stretch of the holiday season.
This role is ideal for someone who's detail-oriented and genuinely likes the satisfaction of a well-organized stockroom, but who still fits this team's warm, no-ego, low-drama culture, you're behind the scenes, but you're never separate from the team's energy.
Profile of the Ideal Candidate
A genuinely good person to be around, kind, honest, and easy to work with, with zero patience for big egos or unnecessary drama
Highly organized and detail-oriented, you take real pride in precision and a well-run stockroom
Dependable and proactive, comfortable working independently while staying closely connected to the floor team
Comfortable with autonomy and a little ambiguity, you don't need everything mapped out perfectly to make a good call in the moment
Takes feedback well and gives it just as gracefully, always looking for a better way to do it next time
Calm and steady under pressure, especially during peak gifting and holiday shipment volume
Key Requirements
Prior retail experience in stock, operations, or inventory-focused roles is required
Comfortable and energized by the intensity of a fall-through-holiday retail season, including high shipment volume during peak gifting periods
Highly organized with strong attention to detail, this role is what keeps the floor running smoothly
Familiarity with retail systems and inventory processes
Physical ability to receive, move, and organize merchandise safely
Flexible availability across the full fall and holiday season, including weekends and key trading/holiday periods
What You'll Own
Stock & Inventory Management
Maintain an organized, efficient, and accurate stockroom at all times
Oversee product receiving, transfers, and inventory counts
Ensure timely, accurate replenishment so the sales floor never runs short during a busy stretch
Partner with store leadership to uphold inventory accuracy and loss prevention standards
Merchandise Flow & Floor Support
Support visual merchandising through proper product flow and preparation
Keep sizing, availability, and product readiness dialed in for the sales team
Be present on the floor as needed to support operational flow, especially during peak traffic
Help the team quickly track down specific pieces regulars and collectors are hoping for, knowing what's in the back is a real part of the magic for our customers
Operations & Team Collaboration
Support daily store operations including shipment processing, stock movement, and system updates
Collaborate closely with the Store Manager, Keyholder, and Sales Associates to anticipate selling needs
Follow all policies related to inventory integrity, transactions, and operational compliance
Flag stock issues or shortages early so the team is never caught off guard on a busy day
Success Metrics
An accurate, well-organized stockroom
Consistent, on-time replenishment to the sales floor, especially during peak gifting weeks
Minimal stock discrepancies and strong loss prevention outcomes
A smooth, dependable behind-the-scenes operation that lets the rest of the team focus on customers
Why You'll Love Working Here
Competitive hourly compensation
Employee discount
A lean, no-fluff team that values getting things done well over busy-work and unnecessary meetings
A genuinely fun, feel-good environment during one of the most exciting retail seasons of the year, a good sense of humor is basically a requirement here, not a bonus
