Overview
The DCGS-N Configuration Management Specialist handles production and installation CM processes and activities, supports CM policies and procedures for configuration planning, configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits using tools like CMPro.
Responsibilities
- Manage hardware and software ECRs from initiation through implementation in CMPRO, including reviews, routing, and approval tracking.
- Plan and coordinate LCCBs while working with product owners and other stakeholders (T&E, Cyber, ILS, Training, PMW-120, SSA, etc.)
- Create and update hardware and software baselines in CMPRO and configuration status accounting through the Product Baseline Report (PBR).
- Manage documentation in the CMPRO Document Repository, including CM Plans and affected documentation CIs identified in the change management process (e.g. SVDs, User Manuals, Test Plans, Test Reports, etc.)
- Perform CMPRO administrative duties, including assisting with account requests/reactivations, adding/removing users to the DCGS-N proprietary group, and adding/removing roles to participate in the ECR, Document, Software, and Drawing Repository workflows.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree
- 10 years of professional experience with a Master’s degree or 14 years of professional experience with a Bachelor’s degree, providing contract management support that includes drafting/reviewing procurement-related documents in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), associated supplements, and DOD 5000 series requirements.
- Experience includes, but not limited to, coordinating Industry Days; reviewing/draft procurement documents: Market Research Reports, Work Statements, Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRL), Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN), DD-254s, Acquisition Plans, Source Selection Plans, Justifications & Approvals, and Determinations & Findings; preparing Procurement Requests, Modification Requests, Technical Direction Letters/Technical Instructions, tracking obligations/expenditures, and tracking
- If a Non-Disclosure Agreement is applicable, duties are restricted to those outlined in the Organizational Conflict of Interest clause(s).
- Individual shall have or be able to attain within 30 Days of assignment Cyber
- Security Workforce IAM I designation.
- The individual shall have experience in U.S. Navy programs or Experience with data science, data mining, statistics, or graph algorithms to support analytics objectives and automate report generation.
- Active Top Secret Clearance walking through the door
