Adobe is working in a period of swift change fueled by AI, shifting workforce expectations, evolving work patterns, and accelerated business expansion. As the company grows, choices regarding work environment and location need to be more flexible, informed by data, and consistent with business goals.

This position integrates business collaboration, location strategy, and workplace expertise to make sure workplace investments correspond with shifting business priorities and upcoming ways of working. The Workplace Business Partner is tasked with formulating strategic recommendations, promoting agreement among partners, and representing business priorities during workplace planning, governance, and implementation efforts. Execution is carried out in collaboration with teams throughout WSSO.

As Adobe develops within a technology-enhanced environment, this role predicts shifting business requirements and finds emerging workplace opportunities that foster organizational adaptability and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Business Partnership

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with senior business leaders, HR Business Partners, and key collaborators.
  • Act as the main strategic point of contact between WSSO and designated business organizations.
  • Understand business objectives, workforce strategies, organizational changes, and growth plans to assess implications for workplace, location, and portfolio decisions.
  • Represent business objectives within WSSO and support alignment between organizational needs and workplace priorities.

2. Work Location Approach

  • Conduct external market analysis and benchmarking to inform workforce distribution, evaluate location opportunities, and inform investment considerations.
  • Build strategic recommendations for a workforce-informed location strategy aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop strategic recommendations, and executive presentations for leadership review and approval.

3. Strategic Program Leadership

  • Sponsor and guide workplace initiatives from strategy development through implementation partnering with GSO, GWE, and GWD to ensure business objectives are represented.
  • Partner with functional experts across WSSO who own analytics, planning processes, programs, project delivery, and operations to develop aligned recommendations and drive successful outcomes.
  • Provide business intelligence, workforce planning inputs, collaborator alignment, and strategic recommendations that inform governance and approval processes, including the Global Workplace Approval Committee (GWAC).
  • Identify risks, dependencies, and organizational impacts associated with workplace decisions.
  • Represent designated business units in prioritizing workplace investments among competing organizational demands.

4. Change Management & Collaborator Engagement

  • Lead collaborator engagement efforts related to work location strategy initiatives.
  • Collaborate with Site Operation teams to communicate recommendations, rationale, and encouraged outcomes to business leaders and partners.
  • Support adoption of workplace initiatives through effective communication and change management planning.

5. Key Partnerships

The Workplace Business Partner develops workforce and location strategies that correspond with business needs through close collaboration with:

  • Global Site Operations (GSO) – operational feasibility and site readiness
  • Global Workplace Delivery (GWD) or equivalent experience – real estate strategy and project execution
  • Global Workplace Experience (GWE) – employee experience strategy & workplace build
  • HR Business Partners (HRBP) – perspectives on workforce planning and organizational strategy

What you need to succeed

  • Over 8 years of experience in workplace strategy, corporate real estate, business relationship management, consulting, or long-term business development.
  • Experience formulating workplace, portfolio, or location approaches in a complex global organization.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders and collaborators.
  • Experience crafting arguments, well-founded proposals, and analyses of return on investment.
