Overview
As a Sales Manager - Outbound Sales, you will work in a dynamic, customer‑focused environment where you independently close business with both prospective and existing customers. You will be responsible for building strong relationships and advising our customers in a true partnership approach. At AIT, trust is our most important value.
Responsibilities
- Actively identifying and approaching potential customers in the assigned sales territory
- Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships through regular visits and ongoing support
- Conducting product presentations and demonstrations directly at the customer’s location
- Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve defined goals
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and risks
- Preparing sales reports and forecasts to track performance and derive targeted optimization measures
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of successful sales experience in freight forwarding, preferably within air and ocean freight
- Proven ability to acquire new customers and build long-term business relationships
- Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Results-driven mindset with a track record of achieving commercial targets
- High level of ownership, self-motivation, and ability to work independently
- Strong CRM and pipeline management discipline
- Experience in operational freight forwarding is an advantage
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
